Jimmy Mooney Becomes Chairman; Willingway Announces New CEO
After 15 years of service as CEO of Willingway Hospital, Jimmy Mooney is changing positions. As of June 1, he became Chairman of the Board for Willingway Hospital, focusing on enhancing the hospital’s marketing efforts nationally as well as the hospital’s non-profit affiliate, Willingway Foundation.
Barbara Reid has been named CEO for Willingway Hospital. Barbara served as the hospital's COO since 2004 and has been employed at Willingway since 1995 when she joined the finance department.
“Over the past 15 years, I have served as CEO,” Jimmy said, “and [I’ve] been given the opportunity to lead the finest treatment center in the country through both good times and tough times. I’m looking forward to the new role of broadening the Willingway message nationally.”
“I’m excited to be given the opportunity to serve in this capacity,” Barbara added, “and to partner with our staff to maintain our strong heritage and commitment to ‘quietly saving lives.’”
